On behalf of our citizens, I welcome you to the Town of Hope Mills website. Hope Mills is a wonderful community with a colorful history and a bright future. Even though we are one of the fastest growing towns in the state of North Carolina, we are proud that we have retained the simple pleasures and family atmosphere of small town life. Hope Mills is known throughout the state for its strong sense of community and spirit. I was born and raised here and I have a tremendous pride in the area and its residents.
Hope Mills enjoys an abundance of natural resources, a warm year round climate, and public safety fire and police departments that embellish our high quality of life. Our local high school is recognized yearly for having the best overall athletic program in the county and South View High School has won state championships in six different sports – golf, baseball, football, basketball, softball, and cross country. In addition, South View offers the finest in academics with an International Baccalaureate Academy and it has one of the largest cultural arts programs in the state.
