The Mission of the Hope Mills Police Department's Operations Support Division is to facilitate a partnership with all citizens of Hope Mills by providing professional and community-oriented services that will reduce crime, the fear of crime, and neighborhood decay while maintaining the mission, values, and vision of the Hope Mills Police Department as a whole.

Traffic Unit
It is the mission of the Hope Mills Police Traffic Unit to promote expeditious traffic flow that enhances traffic safety for all residents of, and visitors to, the Town of Hope Mills through vigorous enforcement of town and NC motor vehicular laws.

Traffic Law Enforcement
Collision Prevention and Investigation
Impaired Driver Enforcement
Traffic Control at Special Functions, Parades, and for Visiting Dignitaries
Response to High Priority Patrol Calls, When Available
Community Traffic Complaint Investigations
Community Functions such as Speaking to Driver's Education Classes
