Something wicked comes this way every year on Halloween to the Town of Hope Mills. Community Ghouls, Business Goblins, Resident Ghosts, Mystical Fairies, Boo-tiful Princesses and everything in between gather for our Annual Trunk R Treat. This year we are hosting and partnering with Rockfish Elementary!! Bringing out the entire family in costume, this fall favorite allows for our community to enjoy going from trunk to trunk collecting candy from community members who decorated their vehicles for this fun, safe and spooktacular event.
RULES and REGULATIONS: EVENT IS 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Location: Rockfish Elementary
- NO ANIMALS ALLOWED
- Vehicle registration deadline is prior to 11:59 pm on Wednesday, October 23rd.
- Advanced approval required. No on-site registration allowed.
- Check-in/Set-up will begin at 4:00pm. All vehicles must arrive between 4:00pm-5:15pm.
- Vehicles arriving after 5:15pm will not be allowed to enter.
- Vehicle must stay parked for the entire 2(two) hour event, and an adult must be at vehicle at all times for duration of event. For safety purposes, no vehicles are allowed to leave/move until the event is over.
- Trunks are required to provide their own setup/supplies/decorations.
- Trunk or Treat vehicles may provide goodies. Individually wrapped candy, prizes, trinkets and business goodies are all acceptable items.
- Additional games and activities (i.e., spin wheels) will NOT be permitted at participating trunks in an effort to keep the trunk line moving.
- This is a family friendly event, please decorate your trunk appropriately. DECORATIONS MUST BE AGE APPROPRIATE FOR ELEMENTARY AGED CHILDREN. If a participant comes to the event with décor that is deemed inappropriate by either Town of Hope Mills Staff or Rockfish Elementary Staff they will be asked to leave.
- You are responsible for set-up and clean-up of your trunk location.
- There will be no electrical support for vehicle decorations, battery powered lights are acceptable, NO GENERATORS
- Costumes are encouraged!
