Born and raised in Raeford, North Carolina, Justin Baldwin has built his career around a passion for sports, community, and youth development. A former student-athlete at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Justin balanced athletics with academics while working as a Park Attendant for the Town of Hope Mills Recreation Department. During his undergraduate years, he also served as a lead member of the university’s Sports Marketing Team, gaining hands-on experience in event promotion and fan engagement. Justin earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Recreation and Sports Administration, alongside a minor in Business Administration and Marketing. He went on to further his education by completing a master’s degree in Sports Administration at Catawba College.
With nearly four years of professional experience in the field of recreation, Justin has established himself as a dedicated leader who prioritizes creating opportunities for youth and families. Before entering recreation, he contributed to collegiate athletics through roles on coaching staffs, in Compliance Offices, with Development and Booster Clubs, and in Game Day Operations at several institutions, including the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Catawba College, Wake Forest University, and Fayetteville State University. Justin takes pride in doing everything possible to provide the best experiences for kids and the community. Outside of his professional career, Justin values quality time with family and friends and is a proud sports and sneaker fanatic, always bringing energy, teamwork, and passion into everything he does
