The primary mission of the Building Inspections and Permitting Department is to enhance the quality of life for all citizens of Hope Mills by providing for their health, safety and welfare through the effective and efficient administration and enforcement of the North Carolina State Building Code and applicable local ordinances.
The department processes permit applications, collects associated fees, reviews construction plans, schedules inspections, tracks permit and inspection data, and inspects for code compliance.
